As many of you had heard... yes... it's true... We're moving to Tallahassee. Lindsey (at the last minute, mind you!) decided to apply to Florida State University's Doctorate of Statistics program. Amazingly enough, they accepted her into the program while at the same time offering her an assistantship. The assistantship means this: 20hrs of work each week (grading papers, assisting with research...etc), tuition waived, and a $6000 per semester stipen. Can anyone say, "What a blessing!". Rain or shine, our God takes care of his children.
With that in mind, today was my last day of work for Relativity, Inc. I left on my own accord and thankfully, I was able to part with the company on very good terms. It's been learning experience. What it all boiled down to was that where Relativity as a company is headed and where I want to go are two different places. So now, I'm on the job hunt again. But some of you may be wondering, "So Caleb, What kind of job are you looking for?". To which I will reply, "That's a great question, Do you know anyone hiring?" For now, I'd like to move more directly into the web industry. Concordantly, I'll be beginning my freelance web design work once again. I have a few projects already lined up.
So, for now, the plan is for Lindsey to finish strong. She'll be graduating at the beginning of August. I've had a few positive phone interviews already with a potential design firm in Tallahassee. If I end up getting a job down down there any time soon, I'll go ahead and move all of our stuff down and then Linds' will come down upon recieveing her graduate degree.
That about wraps it up. Thanks for taking the time to read. Now it's your turn, let us know how you are doing in this life!
